Hey there!
Welcome to my blog! Thanks for stopping by 🙂
My name is Laura and I’m a fitness fanatic, full-on fashionista, fervent foodie, and full of fun!
(^ Too many alliterations? Probably.)
I started this blog back in June 2013 when I was still a college student – double majoring, interning, health coaching, running, and spending time with friends. It was a very busy time, so, even though I didn’t want it to, blogging often took a backseat (hence why I went months without posting very much!).
Now, I’m a twenty-something who’s still learning how to live a balanced life. In May of 2016, I graduated from Boston College (GO EAGLES!!) with a BA in communication and psychology, and I’ve recently started my first “real world” job in the Boston area.
Working full-time, blogging, cooking, exercising, and enjoying a social life with my friends and family (all while maintaining a healthy lifestyle – and my sanity!) can be difficult, even without all the papers and studying I had to do in college.
But, I’m discovering that although it can be a challenge at times, with patience and positivity, it can be done!
I write about the delicious and (mostly) nutritious food I eat, the fun workouts I do, the outfits I wear, and the friends, family, and fun that fill my days.
I am not a registered dietician or personal trainer, nor am I in the fashion industry. All the views expressed here are my own – they are not expert opinion or scientifically proven facts. The workouts I create and the food I eat are what work for me, and are not necessarily right for everyone.
My goal in writing this blog is to share how I fuel my life with positivity and happiness, with the hope that after reading it, you’ll leave my page with a smile and a brighter outlook.
Life is not about abiding by a stringent schedule, losing yourself in the monotony of a routine, a strict diet, or someone else’s rules.
It’s about laughing til you cry,
cherishing every moment,
not taking a single thing for granted,
and truly feeling alive.

Glad I found your blog through your guest post on STSL. What are you double majoring in? 🙂
Aw you’re so sweet! I’m currently double majoring in Communications and Human Development & Applied Psychology – but who knows if I’ll change my mind this year 😉
Are you becoming a Health Coach through IIN?
No, it’s actually a program at my college!
